Biography

A striking, modern sports stallion, Baloutelli is supremely confident, with a strong back and a great outline when taking fences. He comes from the prestigious mare line Fairness III Z (Hannover Stutenstamm 3194601), famed for horses such as All Star 5, Al Capone and PSG Petit Prince. This young, AES elite graded stallion was sired by Baloubet du Rouet, one of the most influential showjumpers of our time. He was successful at many of the key international jumping competitions and won medals at two Olympic Games, including a gold at Athens in 2004. Four years earlier, he scored a hat-trick when he won the World Cup for a third time. Baloubet was approved by all stud books of warm-blooded sport horses and sired several notable horses, including Balou Grande Z, who was licensed by the Oldenburg International studbook. Baloutelli’s dam sire is Clinton, a stunning, grey Holstein stallion of immense jumping ability, which stood him in great stead for a successful jumping and stud career. Clinton came fifth at the 2004 Olympics, in Athens, under Dirk Demeersman and, two years later, won in Beervelde, came second in the Lumen Grand Prix and fourth in Wiesbaden as his swansong. A licensed stallion in the Belgian Warmblood, KWPN, Holstein, Zangersheide, Oldenburg and Selle Francais stud books, Clinton sired an impressive string of approved stallion sons, including Cornet Obolensky. Baloutelli’s grand-dam sire, Come On, claimed many international ribbons under Ludger Beerbaum and Ralf Schneider.
